Lola Arrives!

That's right! You read correctly. Lola Lorraine Gambino has arrived! She was born Sunday, February 5th, 2006 at Women and Infants Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island at 12:49pm, weighing in at 5 pounds 7 ounces (don't believe the photograph.)

Bethany had a successful, and short, labor which will be further explained in tomorrow's post, for Daddy Johnny is quite exhausted at the moment and is expected back at the hospital momentarily (I stopped home to shower, grab some things, make some calls, and start this blog!)

Daddy John, judging from the photo's taken by Grandpa Sal, is also in dire need of a haircut and a new diet and exercise routine, but that is far beside the point.

The real point is is that Little Lola is perfectly healthy and beautiful, even though she may look a bit frightening in the photo displayed.

I should also point out that there will be a new picture of the darling in every post of this blog.

That is all for now. Feel free to leave comments to every entry. Check back once in a while to see what's going on in the Land of Lola!
