Lola Ignores the Nurse

I was at work most of the day so I missed a great deal of whatever cute things our little Lola-Loo might have done. According to Momma B, all the little Cute Brute did was sleep, sleep, and sleep. Typical for a small girl her age!

Lola was visited by the Home Care Nurse today, but all she really did was ask us a bunch of questions and it wasn't very interesting. She was nice, I guess, but a little too peppy for me at 9 in the morning. Plus she tracked salty slush from the parking lot into our apartment, so that gets her a couple points off. Anyway, it's a free service via Women and Infants, which was pretty cool. My guess is that they really just want to make sure we don't live in squalor, like when you adopt an animal from a rescue, but I'm probably just paranoid.

After 7 blog entries, I have failed to mention this interesting Lola tid-bit. She was born on Bethany's Nana's birthday! This is interesting in more than one way. I also share a birthday with my Great Grandmother, as well as my Auntie Marianne. Lola didn't get my birthday, like I wanted, but at least she gets to carry on the Great Grandmother tradition.

Below is a picture of Lola meeting my first born from a previous relationship, Charlie.
