Smiley Smile

The picture above is of Lola attempting to take a nibble of Mimi Duffy's Thai Steak Salad at The Cheesecake Factory last Sunday evening. Luckily the attempt was a failure. I swear you turn your head for 5 seconds!

We believe that one Miss Lola had her first non-gas related smile today. It actually happened a few minutes ago. She was chillin' in her car seat (her new bed) and Bethany placed her bottle up to her mouth. This triggered a very bright smile as if to say "Oh boy, I'm so happy I'm about to receive some more nutritious milk!" She didn't really say this, of course. That would be way too miraculous. I tried to get her to smile again by getting in her face saying "Come on Sweetie and smile for Mommy and Daddy again!" She looked at me in disgust and refused a command performance. Oh well, I'm sure there will be more to come.

Apparently all Lola did today was sleep while Bethany finished the first season of Nip/Tuck. Just business as usual for ol' Lola (or should I say young Lola!)
