Jessica's Visit

Today Lola was visited by her friend and mine, Mrs. Jessica Faust. Jessica and I met in college and lived in Brookline, Massachusetts with each other for a while. She watched as I gave Lil' Lola her much needed second bath. Reading that she has only received two baths in four weeks may make us sound like terrible parents, but you have to take into consideration that her umbilical chord was still intact until a week or so ago.

I taught Jessica the bare essentials of parenting for she most likely will be the next of my friends to spawn a child. Just kidding, Jessica. We all know how much you hate children. Just kidding again, Jessica loves her little Lola friend and will make a terrific mother one of these days. She did a great job holding Lola when Bethany and I got sick of it.

Lola, for lack of better words, took a really disgusting dump today from all the formula she's been sucking down. Her diaper was literally overflowing with doodles which stunk to high heaven. I nearly gagged wiping the loose turds which had found their way to Lola's tummy. She also accidentally pinched a loaf on her changing table blanket which will now have to be properly washed. We were forced to give Lola formula for she had nursed Bethany dry this morning for a total of three hours straight. She's most likely going through another growth spurt. Not the little peanut she was the first few weeks. Oh, she's growing up way too fast. I wish I could make it stop!
