Flaky Forehead Flakes Away!

Lola and Bethany had a crazy wacky nutty wild day today. I don't know all the details but I know it involved a lot of driving around and going to places. A few of the places they ventured to were some salon, Ben & Jerry's, and some place else. Apparently Lola has been in an odd mood since her series of injections. She spent most of the day awake silently looking around at things and spending less time screaming her head off.

Speaking of Lola's head, upon Dr Bonner's advice Bethany rubbed her dry scaly forehead with some sort of Bert's Bees Mineral Oil allowing it to sit for an hour prior to giving her a bath. The results have been miraculous. It actually scraped all that flaky dead skin right off leaving it clear and pure like a baby's bottom. Um, or a baby's head, or whatever a baby's head is supposed to be like. Or maybe, rather, what society says how soft a baby's head should be. Whatever, it's clear now. The end.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh! Look at that face!
.....sigh.....
In the picture of Lola resting on John's shoulder, she looks so happy and peaceful. That little smile of hers just speaks volumes of how content she is with her daddy.
.....sigh.....
Bethany, I never saw a baby picture of you and I'm sure that Lola has features of both you and John but I have to tell you that in this picture Lola reminds me of the days I used to hold him like that. And I see in her eyes the look he had whenever he greeted me as a young child. Both Ben's and John's eyes would light up which made me feel like the whole universe was smiling when they saw me. We had such fun together.
I really look forward to when I can teach Lola the children's songs I sang with them. Like "Chester Have You Heard About Harry" .
It is a song where the child learns body parts by pointing to them as they sing the words:

CHESTer have YOU (point away from self) HEARd (ear) about HAIRy? He just (CHEST) got BACK from the ARM ME. (To Arm then towards self )
EYE hEAR he NOSE how "to wear a rose" (hands caress lapel area)
HIP! HIP! (Smack each hip then clap on 'hurray') Hurray for the ARM ME! (To Arm then towards self )
:)

But alas...only Lola knows what she's thinking or if maybe it's a case of gas! LOL

XXXXX OOOOO
